19 Jun 2015
The Jersey cricket team is heading to the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers this summer. The tournament kicks off on 6th July and Rossborough's Ben Kynman will be making the journey over to host nation Ireland with Team Jersey. At stake is a place at next year's ICC World Twenty20 in India, where Ben dreams of playing against the likes of England, Australia and defending champions Sri Lanka.
We caught up with Ben ahead of the qualifiers to find out what he is most looking forward to in Ireland next month.

What aspects of your job at Rossborough do you most enjoy? - I enjoy interacting with clients and learning something new about the job every day.
What training has the team been doing ahead of the T20 qualifiers? - The team has been training hard three times per week, plus an additional fitness session to keep us in good shape. To prepare for the tournament we will also be playing warm up matches against Kenya and UAE at the AGEAS Bowl in Southampton.
What are you most looking forward to about the T20 qualifiers?- I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge of the game by playing teams with a wealth of experienced players who have played at the top level. It will be a huge learning curve for both the team and me individually and I know we will take our chance with both hands. Ultimately we are not going to Ireland wanting anything less than to qualify for the World Cup in March and to be on a plane to India to battle with the best.
