What is Vehicle Breakdown Insurance?

Our vehicle Breakdown Insurance provides assistance 24hours a day, 365 days of the year, in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, United Kingdom and Europe.

The policy includes:

  • Cover for up to 31 days any one trip up to a maximum of 90 days in any period of insurance
  • Roadside assistance and recovery in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man
  • Home recovery in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man
  • United Kingdom and European assistance including:
    • Delivery of replacement parts
    • Alternative travel arrangements
    • Emergency car hire
    • Emergency accommodation
    • Emergency driver
    • Vehicle recovery to the Channel Islands and Isle of Man

This insurance does not cover every eventuality. Please ask us for a copy of the full policy wording which explains exactly what is or is not covered before you buy.

Am I eligible for this?

Your car, motorbike or van must meet the following criteria:

  • Be no more than 10 years old
  • Be under 3500kg gross vehicle weight
  • Be no more than 5.1m long, 1.95m high and 2.1m wide
