Private Clients Broker: JSY
We have exciting opportunities for Brokers within our Private Clients Team in Jersey
Roles and responsibilities
- To effectively and efficiently manage a portfolio of high net-worth Private Clients to support the Rossborough Brand providing support and assistance for the Private Clients team.
- To effectively and efficiently provide professional customer service and advice to clients at all times, both face-to-face and via telephone/email.
- To provide quotations and issue new policies, adjustments and renewals predominantly on high net worth contracts but also using standard personal insurance products where appropriate on a daily basis.
- To take responsibility for a book of clients, as required.
- To help organise and attend campaigns and events where appropriate, bear in mind that most of these events will be outside of normal working hours.
- To ensure timely collection of insurance premiums.
- To process all relevant documentation received in an efficient manner maintaining the highest level of client administration.
- To develop working relationships with clients to promote customer satisfaction.
- To drive results in terms of retention and growth and work towards achieving departmental targets.
- To promote the Rossborough Brand and cross-sell additional applications and services to clients.
- To ensure that all activities comply with regulatory and market standards and to understand and adopt relevant Company Policies and Procedures to ensure suitable records are held and maintained to our audit standards.
Key skills, knowledge and competencies
- Confident and effective communication skills – including excellent telephone skills and the ability to construct good written communication (letters & emails)
- Demonstrate close attention to detail/accuracy
- Excellent customer service (ability to liaise well with clients and colleagues). Experience in dealing with high net-worth individuals (with integrity).
- Ability to work under pressure at times, without supervision
- Team player – demonstrate an ability to work jointly and supportively with colleagues.
- To study towards the Certificate in Insurance and further studies as relevant via the Chartered Insurance Institute
- Proficient in Microsoft packages including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
