A Green Milestone for Le Cotil de Vibert

2025 10 10 Rossborough FB LI (4)

Wednesday 15 Oct 2025

After three years of steady growth and care, we’re delighted to share that Jersey Trees for Life now refers to the project site at Le Cotil de Vibert as Mont Vibert Woodland, a fitting recognition of how far the area has come.

To mark this milestone, a group of our volunteers – Stephen Rafferty, Mark Vautier, Carly Carter, Josh Da Silva, Chris Cox and Jordi Etchells – joined Jersey Trees for Life on Friday 10 October to help prepare the site for winter. The team spent the day building a dead hedge, clearing brush, and planting three new trees - two English oaks and a hazel.

This volunteering session was part of Rossborough’s sponsorship of the Jersey Trees for Life Mont Vibert Wilding Project, which began in 2023.

“It’s fantastic to see how far the project has come,” said Stephen Rafferty, Business Development Executive. “Over the last few years, our team has seen the location transform from a small overgrown wooded area into a thriving woodland. It’s been really rewarding to play a part in that journey and to see the positive environmental impact it’s having.”
