Supporting the next generation at the Rising Stars Awards 2026

Nominations open on 2 March for the Jersey Finance Rising Stars Awards, and Gallagher is delighted to support the Rising Star in Insurance, Pensions and Risk Advisory category.

Now in their seventh year, the awards celebrate talented young professionals aged 16 to 30 working across Jersey’s financial and related professional services industry. They shine a light on individuals who consistently go the extra mile, whether that is through supporting clients, finding practical solutions or contributing positively to their teams.

Gallagher has supported the awards for a number of years and is always proud to be involved in such a positive celebration of young talent within the industry. Each year, we have been fortunate to see members of our team nominated, which is a real testament to the calibre and commitment of our people. We have also been especially proud to have won the award two years in a row; in 2025, Abigail Mercier was named winner of the Insurance category, following Hailey Gautier 's success in 2024.

New for 2026, the category has been widened from 'Insurance' to 'Rising Star in Insurance, Pensions and Risk Advisory' which better represents the breadth of work carried out across these connected disciplines.

Professionals across insurance, pensions and risk advisory help organisations understand uncertainty, plan ahead and respond when challenges arise. They support businesses with employee benefits and retirement planning, advise on risk management and help clients navigate changing regulatory requirements. Expanding the category acknowledges that wider contribution and the varied career paths available within the industry.

There is some fantastic young talent coming through, and we’re looking forward to nominations opening on 2 March. For us, being involved is about being part of the wider industry community and backing initiatives that recognise the people building their careers here in Jersey.
