Most policies do not cover claims made within the first 24 hours of your policy start date, so it's best to arrange cover before you need it.

Yes, cover for personal possessions outside the home is available as an optional add-on.

Just let us know during the quote process, and we’ll include it in your policy.

When should I tell you about a high-value item for home insurance?

You should tell us about any individual item that exceeds the insurer’s set value limit.

These items may need to be listed separately on your policy. If you purchase a valuable item after your policy starts, contact us so we can make sure it’s covered.
